Paul Winter has been joined by an array of outstanding musicians from different musical backgrounds for a festival of the Earth's musics during the twenty-seven years of his winter Solstice Celebration (celebrating the return of the sun after the longest night in December) and the eleven years of his summer Solstice Celebration (greeting the summer and the dawning of the longest day in June).

For Paul Winter, 'Earth Music' celebrates the creatures and cultures of the whole earth, and this is the spirit of his annual solstice celebrations.

The musical, theatrical and environmental spectacle of Paul Winter's Winter Solstice Celebrations, celebrating the return of the sun after the longest night of the year, attracts thousands of concert-goers to New York's Cathedral of St. John the Divine and tens of thousands of radio-listeners via the NPR broadcast of the show.

The Paul Winter Consort, with special guests Brazilian singer Renato Braz, world-renowned double-reed wizard Paul McCandless, and Native American singer and drummer, John-Carlos Perea, will be performing in the 4 concerts to celebrate the Winter Solstice this year on 13, 14 and 15 December 2007. Tickets are on sale from 5th October.
